From March to May 2006 some of the mules Criatório Champions of Gameleira and its owner Frank Martin Herman were on the road traveling all the way from Cruz Alta in Rio Grande do Sul the Sorocaba in Sao Paulo, the same done by tropeiros who led the mules born in the south of the country to Sorocaba to be marketed and designed for the places where they were a necessity in the workplace, as in the extraction of minerals in the region of Minas Gerais and in the transport of Cana-de-Sugar in northeastern Brazil.

This ride was promoted by the programme of the Rural Globo television issuing Globo, which had an interest in playing the lives of tropeiros and their long journey which is a milestone in the history of our country.
